Courthouse Retrieval System, Inc. (CRS) Uses New Industry Security Standards to Integrate with Tucson Association of REALTORS(R)' MLS System.

Integration Represents First Use of SAML Technology to Link MLS and Tax Systems

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Courthouse Retrieval System, Inc. (CRS), working in conjunction with Rapattoni Corporation, has implemented a sophisticated security industry standard that transmits data between the Real Estate PowerTool by CRS and the Rapattoni MLS system. The integration went live today for more than 7,000 members of the Tucson Association of REALTORS[R].

"CRS is committed to meeting industry security standards for interoperability with MLS systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data from the courthouse, all the way to the REALTOR[R]'s desktop," said John Lutz, president of CRS.

CRS is the first tax provider to integrate with an MLS system using SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), a standard that ensures the secure and trusted transmission of data between web-based systems. The technology establishes a "trust" relationship between web sites by sending an attached SAML file that validates the users' logon and allows them to move freely between sites.

With the SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) account-linking feature, members can log on to the Rapattoni MLS system once and access the Real Estate PowerTool seamlessly without reentering a user ID or password. This gives members the ability to search all of the CRS tax property data plus mortgages, sales, maps, comps and more through one convenient interface.

The integration enhances the accuracy of data by auto-populating the Rapattoni MLS listing input forms with tax information from the Real Estate PowerTool. This process eliminates the need for members to re-key information into MLS forms, leaving no opportunity for error in data transmission.

The use of SAML technology to integrate the Real Estate PowerTool with the Tucson Association of REALTORS[R]' MLS system will allow CRS to offer tax services to other Rapattoni MLS customers, all of which are SAML-compliant.
