CourtEXPRESS Announces an Upgrade to CaseTracker, Allowing Users Quick Access to Recent Developments in Tracked Cases.

Business Editors

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 2002

CourtEXPRESS, a national leader in online case research and document retrieval The ability to search for documents by keywords and other attributes such as date and author. It implies that the documents have been indexed on all pertinent fields and that keywords have been chosen based upon title and textual content. See document imaging and document management system.  from U.S. Courts, announced Monday an upgrade to its CaseTracker product, a service which allows users to track the docket activity of a specific case.

Attorneys can now choose from three levels of detail when receiving information on tracked cases. Users have the option to receive the entire docket, only new case activity, or entries that match the keyword they specify.

"We upgraded CaseTracker because the legal professionals using the service wanted additional options when receiving email alerts about new filings in cases of interest," said Chris Hayes Chris Hayes may refer to:
  • Chris Hayes (politician) (born 1955), Australian politician
  • Chris Hayes (musician), American musician (Huey Lewis & The News, 1980–2001)

"The new system saves time for users by allowing them to receive only the information that they need for their tracked case, and it also allows them the option of looking at the entire case history if they need to do so."

Setting up a CaseTracker is simple. Users simply enter the case that they want to have tracked, and they receive all of the information available for that case to date. They then receive emails alerting them when there is activity in the case, and the email contains only the level of information that was specified in the request.

"Each upgrade and new product that we implement at CourtEXPRESS is in line with what legal professionals need to make their jobs easier," continued Hayes. "We are confident that the CaseTracker enhancement will provide our users with even more options for managing case information."

During 2002, CourtEXPRESS expanded the scope and depth of its court service to include more state courts and to offer additional business development and party tracking tools.
