Partial summary judgment hearing in the counter-claim

filed against 321 Studios by seven major motion film studios

to occur in Federal Court in San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  


  WHAT:  A partial summary judgment hearing in the counter-claim filed
         against 321 Studios -- the makers of the DVD copying software
         DVD X Copy and DVD Copy Plus -- by seven major motion picture
         studios will occur on May 15, 2003 at the federal courthouse
         in San Francisco, California. The hearing will address 321
         Studio's adherence to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
         (DCMA) and the Court's interpretation of "fair use" rights.
         The movie studios in this lawsuit are Metro Goldwyn-Mayer
         Studios, TriStar Pictures, Columbia Pictures Industry, Time
         Warner Entertainment, Disney Enterprises, Universal City
         Studios and the Saul Zaentz Company.
