Court says no to Madge child bid.


A JUDGE and a lawyer said today that Madonna's application to adopt a second child from Malawi Malawi (məlä`wē), officially Republic of Malawi, republic (2005 est. pop. 12,159,000), 45,200 sq mi (117,068 sq km), E central Africa.  has been rejected because of a requirement that prospective parents be resident in the country for 18 to 24 months.
