The first court session was held in Boston in 1789. granted a summary judgment against PerSeptive Biosystems Inc., based on the company's failure to name two additional inventors in their "Perfusion Chromatography" patent. A forthcoming decision will ultimately determine the validity of the PerSeptive Biosystems patent. PerSeptive Biosystems has until January 19 to correct the patent, at which time the court will hold a hearing to determine if PerSeptive's failure to name the correct inventors was based on deceptive intention.
