Court bid cops lose.


FIVE police officers cleared of murdering an unarmed man have lost their appeal for damages for psychiatric stress.

High Court judges told them their case had "no real prospect of success".

He was shot dead after jumping out of bed naked but a later murder charge was thrown out.

The officers sued the Chief Constable of Sussex Police, claiming a lack of training and failures by bosses led to the shooting and had caused them psychiatric stress.
