Court TV and The National Law Journal Announce Winner of "Anchor for a Day" Contest; Connecticut Lawyer Kelly Voight Chosen in Nation-wide Search.

NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--May 8, 2002

Court TV viewers have picked a winner in the network's first "Anchor for a Day" contest co-sponsored by The National Law Journal.

Kelly Voight, of Milford, CT, was chosen from ten finalists by an online vote on courttv.com. Voight, who works with the Yale Law School Yale Law School, or YLS, is the law school of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Established in 1843, the school offers the J.D., LL.M., J.S.D., and M.S.L. degrees in law. It also hosts visiting scholars and several legal research centers.  Career Development Office, will appear on Court TV this summer during the network's daytime trial coverage.

The ten finalists were chosen by a panel including Live with Regis and Kelly Live with Regis and Kelly is a syndicated American television talk show, hosted by Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. Before 2000, the show was known as Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, with Kathie Lee Gifford co-hosting with Philbin.  host Regis Philbin Regis Francis Xavier Philbin (born August 25, 1931) is an Emmy Award-winning American television personality best known for his roles as a talk show host, game show host, singer and presenter at various events. , ABC ABC

 20/20 co-host John Miller, noted attorneys Roy Black Roy Black is the name of:

The panel selected the finalists from among hundreds of candidates from across the country and viewers cast votes on courttv.com to select the winner. To enter, contestants were required to be a licensed attorney and submit a two-minute on-camera audition tape. The ten finalists were:
