Network's 2002 Summer Lineup Includes New Original Series,

Documentary Premieres and Special Movie Marathons

Court TV today announced its summer primetime programming lineup, which includes the launch of a new weekly series, The Elite, a unique look inside the lives of the men and women who serve in the nation's top law enforcement organizations.

Court TV will also premiere the new weekly series Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege and Justice and present the third installment of the network's award-winning Court TV/Ladies Home Journal Safety Challenge series, hosted by Cynthia McFadden Cynthia McFadden (born May 27, 1956 in Lewiston, Maine) (adopted) is a correspondent for ABC News. McFadden currently co-anchors Nightline and Primetime. McFadden graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Bowdoin College in 1978.  and produced in association with ABC News

In addition to the new series launches and documentary premieres, Court TV will present a number of programming stunts that invite viewers into the thick of investigations and crime solving, including a Father's Day Family of Cops movie marathon. The network will also feature a Fourth of July Fourth of July, Independence Day, or July Fourth, U.S. holiday, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Celebration of it began during the American Revolution.  weekend movie marathon, hosted by former NYPD Blue NYPD Blue is an Emmy Award-winning hour long-running American television police drama set in New York City. It was created by Steven Bochco and David Milch and inspired by Milch's relationship with a former member of the New York City Police Department Bill Clark (who  cast member Nick Turturro, and an NYPD Blue marathon.

Follow Your Intuition, with Andrea Thompson Rebecca Andrea Thompson (born on January 6 1960) is an American actress, best known for her roles on the television series Falcon Crest, Babylon 5, and NYPD Blue.  

Court TV will premiere a new Saturday night programming block on June 8 entitled "Follow Your Intuition." Thompson, who starred in seasons five, six and seven of NYPD Blue and was most recently an anchor on CNN CNN

Father's Day Movie Marathon

Court TV celebrates Father's Day with a movie marathon. The network will air all three Family of Cops movies starring Charles Bronson, who plays Police Commander Paul Fein, the strong and loving patriarch of a family of cops and lawyers. The Father's Day Movie Marathon begins Sunday, June 16 at 4:00 PM (ET/PT) and will run until 10:00 PM (ET/PT).

Dominick Dunne's Power Privilege and Justice

Beginning Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT), Court TV and Dominick Dunne are taking viewers behind mansion walls and country club gates at some of the country's most exclusive locales for a look at the more sinister side of high society in Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege and Justice. Dunne, a best selling author and a celebrated columnist at Vanity Fair, will guide viewers through a selection of true cases that explore the greed and arrogance that leads people to believe they are above the law. The six consecutive episodes include A Marriage of Inconvenience (June 19), A Scandal in Hunt Country (June 26), Miami Vices (July 3), Unbridled Greed (July 10), Billionaire Boys Club “Billionaire Boys Club” redirects here. Premiering on July 9 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT), The Elite goes inside the lives of the men and women at some of our nation's top law enforcement organizations, showcasing a unique group of people who dedicate their lives to making our communities and our country safe. The series launches with an episode entitled The Rookies, which examines life as a rookie at one of the nation's leading police academies. The episode follows these men and women from orientation to the rigors of training to graduation.
