Court Re-Schedules Post Trial Hearing in Lexar Media, Inc. v. Toshiba Corporation for June 21, 2005.


FREMONT, Calif. -- Lexar Media, Inc. (Nasdaq:LEXR), a leading marketer and manufacturer of high-performance digital media and accessories, today confirmed that the Court has re-scheduled the Lexar Media, Inc. v. Toshiba Corporation (company) Toshiba Corporation - A Japanese technology manufacturer with 364 subsidiaries worldwide. Toshiba makes and sells electronics for home, office, industry and health care including information and communication systems, electronic components, heavy electrical apparatus,  post-trial hearing for June 21, 2005 beginning at 1:30 PM PDT PDT

. If necessary, the hearing may continue to June 22. The Court has also scheduled a conference with counsel for June 14 to determine which matters will be addressed at the hearing.

In post trial motions, Lexar has asked the Court for an injunction of Toshiba products that have specifically been found to incorporate Lexar's trade secrets, including Toshiba's large and small block NAND flash See flash memory.  chips, as well as Toshiba's CompactFlash, Secure Digital and xD Picture Card products and any other products that contain the same functionality covered by Lexar's trade secrets.

Lexar has also asked that the Court consider Lexar's claim of unfair competition, which is based on California Business and Professions Code Section 17200 and follows the jury verdicts finding Toshiba Corporation (JP:6502) and Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. Toshiba has asked the Court to rule on its equitable defenses. The Court is expected to rule on the various post-trial motions sometime after all hearings have been completed.
