Court Postpones Date to Consider Fairness of Settlement of Lawsuits Against the Emerging Mexico Fund.

) announced today that a federal judge has postponed the hearing to consider the fairness of the settlement to two class action lawsuits class action lawsuit

A lawsuit in which one party or a limited number of parties sue on behalf of a larger group to which the parties belong. For example, investors may bring a class action lawsuit against a brokerage firm that has actively promoted a tax
 pending against the Fund and its Board of Directors until April 6, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. The hearing has been scheduled for March 26, but the judge is not available on that day for the hearing.
