Court Approves $15 Million Settlement with Devon Energy Corporation on Behalf of Royalty Owners in Montana, According to Meites, Mulder, Mollica & Glink.


CHICAGO -- Meites, Mulder, Mollica & Glink announce the final approval of a projected $15 million class action settlement in a case filed against Devon Energy Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN), headquartered in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA, is one of the world’s leading independent oil and gas exploration and production companies.  Corporation on behalf of natural gas royalty owners in the state of Montana. The plaintiffs sued Devon Energy Corporation and several of its subsidiaries, alleging that Devon Devon (dĕv`ən), county (1991 pop. 1,008,300), 2,591 sq mi (6,711 sq km), SW England. The settlement includes a $5,000,000 cash payment to the class and a promise by Devon to stop deducting hidden charges from the class members' royalty checks, which the plaintiffs estimate to be valued at $10 going forward. "We are very pleased with the settlement. It is a great victory for Montana royalty owners," said Jamie Franklin, one of the attorneys for the plaintiffs.
