Courion Hosts Successful Annual Customer Conference; Customers' Identity Management Successes Recognized With Awards Program.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Courion(R) Corporation, the provisioning specialist, held its fourth annual customer conference last week in Boston, MA. The only provisioning-focused event in the industry, CONVERGE '06 attracted 165 business and technology professionals with 46 percent of the audience first-time attendees. This year's event included the additions of a new Vertical Industry Track that featured healthcare and financial services customer panels and an expanded Product & Partner Showcase with product demonstrations on automated role creation, segregation of duties, provisioning, enterprise single sign-on, voice verification and more.

The keynote address was delivered by the Honorable H. Lee Buchanan, PhD, Vice President, Electronic Warfare Sector, EDO Corporation, and former Deputy Director of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). Entitled "Why is innovation so difficult?" the presentation explored the reasons why innovation and change are so difficult to implement.

CONVERGE '06 included Courion customer case studies with senior level IT and data security executives that focused on best practices for determining the most effective, timely method of breaking through identity management barriers and delivering provisioning results more rapidly. Participants from industry-leading corporations such as AARP, Catholic Healthcare West, Children's Hospital Boston, Compass Bancshares, Federal-Mogul Corporation, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, OhioHealth, SunTrust Banks, The Boeing Company, and WellSpan Health were among the customer companies represented.
