Courion Announces Impressive Keynote and Customer Line-up at Third Annual Customer Conference.

This year the conference features two distinguished keynote speakers: Lt. General, U.S. Air Force (Retired), Kenneth A. Minihan, former Director of the National Security Agency and Colin Crook, Senior Fellow Wharton School, former CTO, Citicorp and author of The Power of Impossible Thinking: Transform the Business of Your Life and the Life of Your Business. In addition to the keynote speakers, Courion customers including The Boeing Company, Children's Hospital Boston, Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Cox Communications, Dow Chemical, Flagstar Bank, The Internal Revenue Service, Sharp HealthCare, State Street Corporation, SunTrust Banks Inc., Unisen Inc. and WellSpan Health will address a variety of enterprise provisioning topics and present best practices case studies for automating enterprise provisioning to an audience of their peers.

From June 14 through June 16, 2005, Courion customers will gather at CONVERGE in Boston to network with their peers from around the world and learn more about how Courion's enterprise provisioning solutions are having a positive impact on entire organizations. In addition to the keynote and customer presentations, renowned industry analyst, Earl Perkins, Vice President, Security & Privacy with Gartner, will present a session about implementing provisioning strategies to manage constant change and the organizational dynamics of today's enterprise. This session will discuss how Identity Management has become critical across the spectrum of business needs, and how Provisioning is the key to helping organizations unlock the value of that asset.

This year CONVERGE will have two distinguished keynote speakers. Lt. General, U.S. Air Force (Retired), Kenneth A. Colin Crook, Senior Fellow Wharton School and former CTO, Citicorp will deliver the speech "Speed & Agility - Full Throttle Toward A New Mental Model for Security." Mr. Crook will discuss the findings of his research on mental models as cited in his recently published book, entitled The Power of Impossible Thinking: Transform the Business of Your Life and the Life of Your Business. He will identify how mental models can be altered to create more adaptable businesses, as well as the implications of mental models for new security thinking such as "de-perimeterization" of security and compliance.

SunTrust Banks, Inc.'s VP and Manager of Access Control and Support Services will present a case study detailing the best practices the organization has applied in its deployment of Courion's Enterprise Provisioning Suite. The session will discuss how SunTrust has leveraged its identity management foundation to provide solid preventative and detective controls for access management in support of meeting Sarbanes Oxley controls and Gramm-Leach-Bliley requirements; to support enterprise growth through mergers and acquisitions and to efficiently facilitate business operations across its eight lines of business. Another member of SunTrust Banks Inc's Information Security department will co-present a session about Dynamic Community Modeling, sharing real world experiences from their Dynamic community-based provisioning deployment and highlighting several examples of the adaptability of the system.

CONVERGE attendees will also hear a case study presented by the VP of IT and the Security Manager of Capital District Physicians' Health Plan detailing the organization's practical approach to implementing a roles-based access control solution using Courion's Enterprise Provisioning Suite. The session will explore how provisioning fits into CDPHP's vision for an integrated security process and how they have tackled challenges encountered along the way. They will also discuss plans and ideas for simplifying their initial role definitions while extending their capabilities to support both internal and external business needs.

Flagstar Bank's VP of Information Security and Technical Compliance will participate in a panel discussion on the proliferation of identity theft and the impact it is having on identity management practices, as well as strategies to reduce liability and meet requirements while enabling business velocity.

Executives from WellSpan Health and SunTrust Banks will participate on a panel discussion about how companies are taking a broader risk management view of compliance.
