FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Courion(R) Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise provisioning solutions, today announced major enhancements to its Enterprise Provisioning Suite(TM) with its release of Version 7.30 to further enable companies to boost user productivity, secure intellectual property, and maximize IT resources.

Advancements to Enterprise Provisioning Suite - an integrated family of products that support account provisioning, compliance management, password reset and synchronization, profile management, and digital certificate registration - make for Courion's most channel-ready version to date, with features that support ease of implementation and deployment. The product's wizard-like installation process is especially attractive to resource-strained IT departments and enables customers to more quickly deliver business value from their implementation.

Courion's Enterprise Provisioning Suite 7.30 features an Express Configuration option that automatically creates out-of-the-box provisioning and compliance workflows with pre-configured connectors to target applications and resources - such as Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2000. In addition, templates are provided to serve as models for creating request/approval workflows. These options simplify and accelerate deployment - allowing the business value of provisioning and compliance to be realized sooner.

This release also provides the ability to integrate provisioning with the entry of Enterprise Single Sign-On (ESSO) credentials managed by Citrix Password Manager(TM). After a user's accounts are provisioned using the Suite, their accounts are automatically entered in Password Manager via a standard SPML-based, web services interface. New users simply log-on once with their primary credentials and all ESSO-enabled applications are immediately available. This process:

--Boosts productivity levels by getting users connected to their applications faster, more reliably and with less effort.

--Strengthens security by not requiring the user to know the passwords associated with every account provisioned.

--Reduces administrative burden by not requiring a separate manual process for the registration of ESSO credentials.

Version 7.30 also features a Resource Claiming function that automates the process of end-users registering resources such as IT accounts, physical assets or business services. Using this feature, an administrator can specify rules that determine which accounts should be presented to users for claiming. This approach complements Courion's IdentityMapping(TM) function and may be advantageous in cases where IT resources are short or account data is difficult to map. Combined, Resource Claiming and IdentityMapping provide comprehensive reports on transactions, orphaned and rogue accounts, and more, simplifying and accelerating the process of allocating accounts to users.
