Couple's recipe for happy memories.AFTER a decade and a half in Bahrain, country marine manager for Bureau Veritas' C M Shafi is leaving tomorrow. Mr Shafi and his wife Ameera, a culinary expert and a TV presenter for Indian channels, plan to settle down in Chennai, India. It is listed on BOM stock exchange with ticker Ticker: SCI. , Mr Shafi came to Bahrain in 1994. A book authored by Mrs Shafi on Arabic dishes, especially of Bahrain, is due to be published shortly. She has won several cookery awards. "The broadmindedness and affection we got from our Bahraini and other friends are what we are going to miss the most," said Mrs Shafi. "Of all the places we lived, Bahrain remains our quintessential 'sweet home'," she said. They have two daughters. The second daughter Azreena is married and lives in London.
