Revolution Tea, America's Tea Company, announces the sale of the company to David Watson David (or Dave) Watson can refer to:
  • David Watson (footballer)‎ (born 1946), English footballer of the 1970s and 1980s, played for Sunderland A.F.C.
  • Dave Watson (born 1961), English footballer of the 1980s and 1990s, played for Everton F.C.

Figures were not disclosed.

Revolution Tea, which was founded in 1998, specializes in high-quality loose-tea, both hot and iced, for the consumer marketplace, and the restaurant and hospitality industries.

The current management will be kept in place at Revolution Tea, with founder Larry Lar´ry

 DeAngelis maintaining his title as chief executive officer. With the closing of the sale, Watson becomes president of Revolution Tea.

Part of Watson's new role as president of Revolution Tea will be to streamline the distribution process, open up new channels, grow the restaurant and hospitality segments and launch a new retail strategy.
