County of El Paso, Texas Selects Intergraph Public Safety for Regional RMS Solution.

Proven Technology to Support Regional Data Sharing The ability to share the same data resource with multiple applications or users. The County of El Paso, Texas, has selected Intergraph Public Safety (IPS) (Nasdaq:INGR) to implement a combined regional information management enterprise system (CRIMES), using the IPS Records Management System (RMS). The contract award is valued at $1.2 million (US).

In addition to providing capabilities to share data among participating agencies, manage incidents, accidents, arrests, and property, the RMS system will also interface to national and local databases such as the National Crime Information Center (NCIC NCIC National Crime Information Center

The CRIMES system will submit crime statistics and report data electronically to the Texas Department of Public Safety The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is a department of the government of the state of Texas. The DPS is responsible for statewide law enforcement and vehicle regulation. The department is headed by the three member Public Safety Commission.  thus increasing overall efficiency and effectiveness. Upon completion of the system implementation, the CRIMES RMS will include 450 RMS desktop users, and 150 automated field reporting mobile users.

Wilkins, Criminal Investigation Division, El Paso County Sheriff's Department.
