County Bank Announces New Board Member.

MERCED, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 2003

Tom VanGroningen, Chairman of the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the election of Curtis R. Grant to the County Bank Board. Grant, who is a retired History Professor, received his Ph.D. from Stanford University. A long time resident of the Valley, Grant spent 32 years teaching at California State University, Stanislaus California State University, Stanislaus, a campus in the California State University system, was established in 1957 in Turlock, California. CSU Stanislaus has nursing and education programs. . Curtis and his wife Nancy have been married for 41 years and currently reside in Modesto.

Along with his professional experience, Grant has also been heavily involved in community service, serving for various organizations such as United Way, the Memorial Hospital Foundation, Stanislaus County Youth for Christ Youth for Christ is an international Christian ministry program that promotes youth evangelism and biblical Christianity.
