Countryside gathering June 29th.

COUNTRYSIDE: Please publish this as an open invitation to all COUNTRYSIDE subscribers: Last year, we placed a notice in the "Upcoming Events" section inviting subscribers of COUNTRYSIDE tO attend a gathering at our homestead specifically for COUNTRYSIDE subscribers. We had demonstrations or speakers covering several topics which included: selecting and sharpening For image sharpening, see .
Sharpening is the process of creating or refining a sharp edge on a tool or implement. The term has a wide application but can be expressed as the creation of two intersecting planes which produce an edge that is sharp enough to cut through the target

Care and manipulation of honeybees to enable them to produce and store more honey than they need so that the excess can be collected. Beekeeping is one of the oldest forms of animal husbandry.

It is the largest of living birds; some males reach a height of 8 ft (244 cm) and weigh from 200 to 300 lb  and buffalo farming; stained glass stained glass, in general, windows made of colored glass. To a large extent, the name is a misnomer, for staining is only one of the methods of coloring employed, and the best medieval glass made little use of it.  crafting, water gardens, greenhouses, saw mill operation, winemaking, etc.

We wish to repeat the event this year. There is no charge to anyone attending. You are welcome to camp here on our homestead free of charge (no guarantee of electrical hook-up--talk to me if you have special needs for this) or you may camp at a state park about three miles from our home. It is approximately seven miles to the nearest motels Motels may refer to any of the following:
  • Motel, a type of temporary commercial accommodation;
  • The Motels, an American new-wave band.
. Since most of the speakers and demonstrators are those who attend, we cannot know what topics will be covered this year until we hear from you. You are welcome to come to learn or come to share what you know--most guests find they do both. It is a great time to meet like-minded friends. We have met some of our best friends at these gatherings. The dates for this year's event will be June 29 through July 1--and for those who would like to just stay a few days and experience life on a homestead, you are welcome to do so. Stay a day or stay a week--whatever you can manage to do. Some meals will be provided--also free of charge. Please provide your own beverages. As plans finalize fi·nal·ize
