DWP was initially appointed to advise on transportation planning and highway infrastructure requirements in support of Countryside Properties' bid for Didsbury Point, part of the site of the former Withington Hospital.

Following the acquisition by Countryside Properties, DWP was retained for consultancy on transportation planning matters with particular reference to the section 106 agreement, a transport assessment and the green travel plan, together with assisting EDAW EDAW Eight Days A Week (Beatles song)

 in the development of a new masterplan for the site.
