The customer count at Country Star Las Vegas for the first week exceeded 12,000 people, of which the company estimated 65 percent to be tourists and 35 percent to be local area residents.

First-week sales at Country Star Las Vegas were particularly positive given that there was no "soft" opening, only about 80 percent of the restaurant was open for business, operating hours were limited and the entire new logo merchandise line was not in the 1,500-square-foot retail store.

sales of approximately $14 million to $16 million for Country Star Las Vegas.

Such forecast, however, depends upon increased awareness of Country Star Las Vegas in the local community, the company realizing increased sales from convention activity, which is substantially less in the summer months, and increased merchandise sales after the entire line of the company's new logo merchandise is available for sale.

Country Star Las Vegas, the company's second restaurant, is a 22,000-square-foot free-standing building located on the world- famous Las Vegas "Strip" (Las Vegas Boulevard South) at Harmon Avenue. The restaurant, which seats approximately 550 people, is within a one-square block radius of over 30,000 hotel rooms.
