Country Maid Foods Inc. reaches agreement with major egg processor.


AURORA, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 1997--Country Maid Foods Inc. (OTCBB OTCBB

:CMFI CMFI Central Multiport Fuel Injection ), a holding company specializing in egg production, egg breaking and other agriculture-related entities, announced today it has reached an agreement with Rose Acre Inc. of Seymour, Ind.

Terms of the agreement call for Rose Acres, one of the largest egg producers and egg-products manufacturers in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , to "custom break" eggs for Country Maid Foods.

Dean Hughson, vice president of sales/marketing, is enthused about the new agreement. "By using the facilities at Rose Acres to custom process our eggs, Country Maid will expand its participation in the growing egg products industry. The demand for dried, frozen and liquid eggs is strong and we intend to be a substantial supplier to meet that demand. Additionally, we see this agreement as an important step in our plans to enlarge TO ENLARGE. To extend; as, to enlarge a rule to plead, is to extend the time during which a defendant may plead. To enlarge, means also to set at liberty; as, the prisoner was enlarged on giving bail.  our markets, both domestically and internationally, and to build on our recent increases in revenue and income."

Results from the quarter ending Dec. 31, 1996, showed a 256% increase in revenues and a 510% boost in net income.
