[N.T.: Matthew] See : Evangelism Rothschild, June issue), you quoted the number of Iraqi soldiers killed in the war. I thank you for this service. I have been looking in vain vain adj. vain·er, vain·est 1. Not yielding the desired outcome; fruitless: a vain attempt. 2. Lacking substance or worth: vain talk. 3. for these figures in the media ever since the bombing. Whether the number is 30,000 or 60,000, it is mind-boggling to think that most of these human beings, many forced into military service, may have been pulverized pul·ver·ize v. pul·ver·ized, pul·ver·iz·ing, pul·ver·iz·es v.tr. 1. To pound, crush, or grind to a powder or dust. 2. To demolish. v.intr. in their sleep by American air power. The current Pentagon Pentagon Huge five-sided building (1941–43) in Arlington, Va., that is the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense. Designed by George Edwin Bergstrom, it was, on its completion, the world's largest office building, covering 34 acres (14 hectares) and offering policy of not doing body counts (the claim itself is hardly credible; more likely, they're not publishing body counts) not only keeps American citizens from knowing of the horror, it also robs thousands of soldiers of their humanity, even in death.
