Counsel Connect Announces "Opinions Unlimited".

Online Services Gives Members Web Archive of Court Decisions for

Low Daily Rate

Counsel Connect, the online service for lawyers, is now giving its members inexpensive online access to state and federal court opinions in the World Wide Web's most complete searchable database Refers to databases on the Web that are searchable by typing in a query. The term is quite redundant because all databases are searchable. In fact, that is one of their major features.  of current caselaw.

Building on their long-standing agreement to provide Counsel Connect with individual court opinions by e-mail, VersusLaw (formerly Timeline Publishing of Bellevue, WA) and Counsel Connect have formed this new program exclusively for Counsel Connect members. The service is available at www.counsel.com/opinions.

Counsel Connect members can access VersusLaw's Web-based caselaw service, Lawyers Legal Research Online, for $10 per day. Although long-term access will be available to Counsel Connect members and others for an annual fee at a later date, the daily access option gives Counsel Connect members an inexpensive research tool that requires no costly commitment.

 Online (www.llr.com) currently provides a searchable database of all federal appellate decisions within one day of being issued and all appellate decisions from 50 states and the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C. (the capital of the United States).  within days of issuance. Most of the archives have all published opinions of the past five years or more.

LLR Online President Joe Acton said his service has been upgraded and expanded. It continues to offer Counsel Connect members a discount and an inexpensive daily-access rate, he said. Opinions Unlimited is accessible to Counsel Connect members on the Internet's World Wide Web, using their Counsel Connect ID and password.
