Warhol would place them in a booth, and tell them to stare at the camera and not blink. and took more than 30 spirit samples in the past year to combat "spirit fraud". They swooped on pubs in response to complaints about watered-down and counterfeit booze. And their work has been recognised by the International Federation of Spirit Producers, with a silver award at the annual Trading Standards conference. Coun Judith Woodman said: "I'm delighted that the work of Cardiff trading standards in combating spirit fraud has been recognised." |
