Council spin is so obvious.

I am amazed a·maze
v. a·mazed, a·maz·ing, a·maz·es

v.tr.
1. To affect with great wonder; astonish. See Synonyms at surprise.

2. Obsolete To bewilder; perplex.

v.intr.
that people are surprised and angry that the Capital Times tried to bury the bad news about school closure. What more can be expected from Cardiff council's own mouthpiece mouthpiece n. old-fashioned slang for one's lawyer. ? We can expect the council spin machine to go into overdrive now, and I wouldn't expect any positive news items in Capital Times about any school that is proposed to close.

Only the schools which are intended to survive will be positively reported on in Capital Times. Thankfully we also have a free press in this country.

Well done the Echo, but stop sitting on the fence and start criticising the plans as the half crazed and half baked product of a few accountants, developers and opportunists.
