Council chiefs said they were facing testing times ahead to provide levels of service for tax payers and would not rule out the possibility of redundancies. Wrexham's finances have been squeezed because of a wide range of factors including demands on children's services, income loss over charges such as planning fees, and less interest being paid by banks on money which is invested.
