FEARNE Cotton Fearne Marie Cotton (born 3 September 1982) is a British television presenter and DJ. Known for presenting a number of popular TV programmes such as Top of the Pops and Red Nose Day  takes over from Jo Whiley Johanne Whiley (born July 4, 1965 in Northampton) is an English radio disc jockey on BBC Radio 1, and a television presenter for the BBC. Whiley was born to an electrician father and a postmistress mother.
 on Radio 1 today - and wants Jimmy Page in the Live Lounge.

The 28-year-old said: "We are keeping the Live Lounge as it's a really integral part of Radio 1 and what that show is - live music at its best!" She has already booked Shakira and Mika to perform next week but says the former Led Zeppelin guitarist, 65, is her number one target.

"Jimmy Page would be a dream to get in the Live Lounge," she gushed. "Realistically, Kings of Leon would be incredible."

Fearne - who swaps her weekend Top 40 show to replace Jo, 44 - added: "I'm looking forward to having the continuity that you lack with a weekend show.

"I haven't had a daily routine since school."

Jo, who has been on-air for eight years, managed to get Jay Z and Coldplay as her final guests.
