The human resources department within an organization, years ago known as the "personnel department," manages the administrative aspects of the employees. . Mr. Walker will be responsible for the Company's array of personnel services as well as corporate planning for human resources. Prior to his joining Cott, Mr. Walker was Senior Manager Human Resource for Deloitte and Touche, Toronto. He will report to Frank E. Weise III, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Colin is a dynamic, highly experienced human resources executive who possesses the additional background of managing operational and line functions. We will particularly look to take advantage of his critical skills at managing employee/employer relationships as we move forward with the 'New Cott,'" said Frank Weise. Previous to Deloitte and Touche, Walker was Vice President, Human Resources for Imasco, a leading Canadian consumer products and services growth company with operations in Canada and the U.S. Prior to that he served in various senior management roles at Canada Trust CT Financial Services Inc. was a financial services holding company that was founded in London, Ontario and later had its headquarters in Toronto, Ontario and operated in Canada through subsidiaries including Canada Trustco Mortgage Company and The Canada Trust Company . Walker's appointment is effective immediately.
