Cote d'Ivoire.


The Security Council on 27 February 2004 established the United Nations Operation in Cote d'Ivoire (UNOCI UNOCI United Nations Operation in Cote d’Ivoire ) for an initial period of 12 months, until 4 April 2005. It also decided to transfer authority to UNOCI from the expiring mandate of the United Nations Mission in Cote d'Ivoire (MINUCI MINUCI Mission in Cote d'Ivoire (French: Ivory Coast Mission, UN) ) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS ECOWAS Economic Community Of West African States ) forces on 4 April 2004.
