Costco Wholesale Corporation Announces Initiation of Quarterly Cash Dividend.

ISSAQUAH, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2004

Costco Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ: COST) is the largest membership warehouse club chain in the world based on sales volume, headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, United States,[1] with its flagship warehouse in nearby Seattle.  Wholesale Corporation (Nasdaq: COST) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on Costco common stock. The first dividend of $0.10 per share is payable May 31, 2004, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 10, 2004. Going forward, the Company expects the quarterly dividends to total $0.40 per share per fiscal year.
