Costco Warehouses to Remain Open.

ISSAQUAH, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 11, 2001

Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: COST) reported today that its retail warehouses in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  will remain open during their regular hours of operation. Three of its locations in Brooklyn, Queens and Lawrence, New York Lawrence, New York may refer to:
  • Lawrence, Nassau County, New York
  • Lawrence, St. Lawrence County, New York
 and one in Pentagon City, Virginia Pentagon City is an unincorporated neighborhood (also called an "urban village") located in the southeast portion of Arlington County, Virginia, near The Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery. Due to its proximity to Washington, D.C.  were forced to close due to the transportation problems facing those areas in the aftermath of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon Pentagon
