Cost-U-Less Reports February 2005 Sales Results.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Cost-U-Less, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:CULS CULS Capital University Law School (Columbus, Ohio) ) today reported an increase of 7.8% in same store sales Same Store Sales

A statistic used in retail industry analysis. It compares sales of stores that have been open for a year or more.

Notes:
This statistic allows investors to determine what portion of new sales has come from sales growth and what portion from the opening of
 (stores open a full 13 months), for the four weeks ended February 20, 2005. For the corresponding period a year ago, the Company experienced a same store sales increase of 15.7%. For the eight weeks ended February 20, 2005, same store sales rose 8.7%, compared to 15.0% for the corresponding period a year ago. Same store sales for the corresponding period a year ago are calculated on stores excluding the Guam market, as the Company's Dededo store was closed from December 8, 2002, until October 3, 2003, due to damage resulting from Supertyphoon Pongsona that swept through the island of Guam on December 8, 2002.

Total sales for the four weeks ended February 20, 2005, increased 6.6% to $16.5 million, compared to $15.5 million for the corresponding period a year ago. Total sales for the eight weeks ended February 20, 2005, increased 7.9% to $32.7 million, compared to $30.3 million for the corresponding period a year ago.

Cost-U-Less currently operates eleven stores in the Caribbean and Pacific region: U.S. Virgin Islands (2), Netherlands Antilles Netherlands Antilles, island group, an autonomous part of the Netherlands (2005 est. pop. 220,000), 371 sq mi (961 sq km), West Indies.
