PRESTON, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 11, 2000

Cost-U-Less, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:CULS CULS Capital University Law School (Columbus, Ohio) ) today announced, as part of its plan to focus on improving store operations and identifying new markets for future expansion, the promotions of Roy Sorensen to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
, and Martin Moore to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Sorensen was previously Chief Financial Officer, while Moore was the Company's Controller.

 to Vice President of Pacific Operations. Cain manages the Company's distribution operations and has been with the Company since April 1998. Rose was previously Regional Manager of Caribbean operations and joined the Company in January 1993.
