The second day was opened by a speech about the Japanese market and its legal situation from Shigeru Sekine, president of the Japan Cosmetic Suppliers Association. It was followed by Annelie Struessmann's presentation that provided insight on the cosmetic regulations of Asia's biggest economies. The conference ended with a lecture on "Safety Assessment without Animal Tests" by Walter Aulman from Henkel.
