Cosmetic giant completes 63,000 s/f lease deal.


In a major midtown leasing transaction, a division of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. has leased three full contiguous floors comprising approximately 63,000 square feet of space at Jack Resnick & Sons' Inc. 37-story office tower at 110 East 59th Street.

The transaction represents the absorption of the final piece of approximately 190,000 square feet of office space to be vacated by Bloomberg L.P. when it relocates to its new Lexington Avenue headquarters building next year. In July, Cantor Fitzgerald Cantor Fitzgerald L.P. is a global financial services firm specializing in bond trading, as well as investment banking, asset management, market data and brokerage services.  L.P. leased 122,000 square feet of soon to be former Bloomberg space at the building for its world headquarters.

Estee Lauder Companies plans to relocate operations of a number of its divisions currently located at 655 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City. , when it moves into the 11th, 12th and 14th floors of the Resnick building during the second half of 2005.

"We are delighted to welcome one of the legendary names in Corporate America to our building," stated Resnick President Scott Resnick, who noted that 110 East 59th Street was now approximately 95% leased. Only two full floors comprising approximately 33,0000quare feet are currently available for lease.

On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  represented the tenant, Estee Lander Companies, in the long-term leasing transaction. Mr. Resnick and Peter Resnick represented the landlord.
