Coscient Group - Motion International Sells Popular Mechanics for Kids to Disney Channel France.

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 1998--(ME:CST.A) (TSE:CST.A) (ME:CST.B) (TSE:CST.B) Motion International, a Coscient Group company, announced today that it has sold 44 episodes of the youth TV magazine Super Mecanix (French version of Popular Mechanics for Kids) to Disney Channel France for satellite broadcast to France and Switzerland. The series produced by SDA Productions, another Coscient Group company, has achieved high ratings in English Canada on the Global Television Network and in the U.S. where it is syndicated in over 95 percent of the market by Hearst Entertainment. Popular Mechanics for Kids / Super Mecanix is a fast-paced and entertaining half-hour series designed for curious minds. Each show presents a new theme in a lively and fascinating magazine format. Hosted by two teens, Popular Mechanics for Kids / Super Mecanix offers viewers a hands-on experience and a cool look into how things work. While our young hosts comb the planet in search of answers to their many questions, viewers of all ages get to take part in all these exciting and amazing adventures of discovery!
