Corzine becomes newest investor at West End.

West End Capital Partners LLC, a private real estate development and finance company, announced Joanne Corzine as the firm's newest investor.

Corzine, a real estate developer with properties in New Jersey, New York, Long Island and Telluride, Colorado, will provide investment capital to help fund acquisitions. In addition to purchasing an equity interest in the company, Corzine will contribute her business experience and real estate acumen to West End's think tank of real estate and finance professionals.

Inspired by the company's vision to revitalize and reposition neglected buildings in moderate income neighborhoods, Corzine saw an opportunity to join a company that helps individuals on a personal level, while positively impacting real estate values and municipality tax revenues.

"West End targets under-performing properties in overlooked communities," said Corzine. "Their presence in a neighborhood isn't just marked by a new or renovated building. I wanted to be part of a real estate organization that enriches individuals as well as entire communities through the creation of home ownership," said Corzine.

Corzine has more than ten years of real estate development experience throughout the United States. She is a charitable supporter of a number of organizations such as Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ and The NYU Child Care Center, as well as educational programs for economically disadvantaged families in Harlem, the Bronx and the LINK Community School in Newark, NJ.
