The radio frequency (RF) fingerprinting system will protect Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile customers from cloning within their local service areas as well as in a number of the nation's largest roaming markets. Installation of the system began two months ago in Connecticut and will continue in the carrier's A-side markets nationwide later this year.
