Corrugated packaging businesses merge.
CORRUGATED PACKAGING BUSINESSES MERGE. Anglo American plc, London, England, United Kingdom, has agreed to merge its corrugated packaging business, Mondi Packaging, with Bauernfeind's Corrugated Paper and Packaging business. Upon regulatory approval, the Bauernfeind Trust will receive approximately 5.3 million Anglo American shares American shares Securities certificates issued in the US by a transfer agent acting on behalf of the foreign issuer. The certificates represent claims to foreign equities. in exchange for that business valuing its equity contribution at Euro 94 million (US$ 115.6 million).
