Corrigent Appoints Executive VP of Sales and Marketing.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Leveraging Broad Experience in the Optical Transmission Market, Ido Gur Will Lead Company's Expanding Sales and Marketing Effort

Corrigent Systems, a leading provider of Packet ADMs (Add Drop Multiplexers) for next-generation transport networks, today announced the appointment of Mr. Ido Gur as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Gur will leverage his experience in global sales, marketing, and product management in the optical transmission space to expand and strengthen Corrigent's market position worldwide.

Mr. Gur brings 12 years of experience in sales and marketing, most recently as VP of Sales and Marketing at ECI Telecom's optical division. While serving in this capacity, sales of ECI's optical division doubled, and positioned ECI as a market leader in the MSPP market segment.
