Corrie killer Gray ready for heckles; FURIOUS FANS IN PROTEST AS REVAMPED SOAP FREEZES OUT THEIR FAVOURITE CHARACTERS.


SCOTS actor Gray O'Brien Gray O'Brien (born 11 August, 1968) is a Scottish actor who has appeared in The Queen, Casualty, and Taggart. He has been cast for the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special, "Voyage of the Damned".  is bracing himself for heckles after Coronation Street Coronation Street is an award-winning British soap opera. It is the longest-running television soap opera in the United Kingdom, first broadcast on Friday, 9 December, 1960 in the Granada region of ITV.  villain Tony Gordon Tony Gordon is a character on the British soap opera Coronation Street. He arrived in 2007 and is played by Gray O'Brien. He is set to woo Carla Connor, which she will leap at the oppurtunity of, after sharing a kiss with her brother-in-law Liam Connor.  murders heartthrob Liam Connor next week.

Furious to discover Liam has been having an affair with his bride-to-be Carla Connor, Tony has planned the perfect murder under cover of his stag night.

Corrie viewers will finally discover how the evil businessman snuffs out his love rival (played by Rob James-Collier) in a "24-style" climax.

The "murder week" hits screens next Monday and three different killings have been filmed to keep the storyline secret.

Yesterday, O'Brien said: "It was hard work. Very draining, a long shoot."

On playing a baddie, O'Brien said: "It's great fun, a role that's always eluded me in the past.

"It's interesting that people forget I used to play nicer guys. I'm sure there'll be plenty of heckles after next week."
