But the gritty Scot, who plays womanising factory boss Tony Gordon Tony Gordon is a character on the British soap opera Coronation Street. He arrived in 2007 and is played by Gray O'Brien. He is set to woo Carla Connor, which she will leap at the oppurtunity of, after sharing a kiss with her brother-in-law Liam Connor. on screen, is said to have already moved on with a new lady in his life. He told pals he has fallen for an Irish businesswoman who he can't wait to get to see once filming has finished. A Corrie source said: "Gray says he met her in Dublin and they just got on like a house on fire. Since then he says he can't wait to try and book flights to get over there in between filming. "It seems he is really besotted with the lady who, by the sound of things, is educated and career-minded. "He has ended it with Jill which was a surprise to people in production."
