An article in the Wednesday October 7 issue of Real Estate Weekly incorrectly stated that the real estate investor Charles Dayan had been a part owner of the residential apartment building, the Sheffield.

The partnership was between Kent Swig, Yair Levy and Serge Hoyda. Mr Dayan has never had a stake in the building.

On Oct. 28, Real Estate Weekly incorrectly stated that Gary Barnett had personally guaranteed a $28.8 million mortgage that the real estate firm Extell Development defaulted on.

In fact, Barnett only personally guaranteed certain interest payments on the mortgage.

"We are in active discussions with the bank to reach a mutually satisfactory outcome," said Barnett.
