In the Aug. 9 story "Caruso, Opponents Gird GIRD - Gastro-Intestinal Reflux Disease GIRD - General Interface Requirements Document for Battle Over Plans for Major Glendale Development," a statement was inaccurately attributed to resident Harry Zavos. While Zavos is skeptical of the financial arrangement between the City of Glendale and developer Rick Caruso, he did not characterize it as a "house of cards."
In the Newsmakers section of the Aug. 23 issue Martin Casaus' name was misspelled. Casaus is with BDO Seidman.
The Aug. 30 story "Flush With Full Houses, L.A.'s Poker Palaces Now Play Politics" misstated the way card clubs generate revenue. They take only a predetermined set fee per hand.
