A Dec. 15 Newsmakers item on Allyson J. Rener's promotion to president of public relations firm Murphy O'Brien Inc. incorrectly stated the year she joined the firm. It was 1993.

The Jan. 5 story "Long Strike Wearing Down Grocery Workers" incorrectly described a union offer on health care costs. The December proposal by the United Food and Commercial Workers included member co-pays for doctor visits and other measures to reduce costs borne by employers, but it did not include any out-of-pocket premium payments by members.
