Corrections.A chart that appeared in "Breakthrough Technology in Papermaking pa·per·mak·ing n. The process or craft of making paper. pa per·mak ," Solutions!, Oct. 2002, pp. 42-45, includes some
inaccurate information. The chart appears on page 43, and the incorrect
information appears under the "liner liner /lin·er/ (lin´er) material applied to the inside of the walls of a cavity or container for protection or insulation of the surface. liner see teat cup liner. " column at the far right. The proper total for the left liner column should be 84%. The percentage numbers for the right hand column (top to bottom) should be 41%, 7%, 12%, 10%, and 14% adding up to 84%. The "Additional Resources" section on page 23 of the December issue of Solutions! included an incorrect web address. The correct address for SCA (Single Connector Attachment) An 80-pin plug and socket used to connect peripherals. With a SCSI drive, it rolls three cables (power, data channel and ID configuration) into one connector for fast installation and removal. Packaging is www.scapackaging.com . Solutions! regrets the error. A news item in the December Solutions! on Nippon PMC (1) See Portable Media Center. (2) (PCI Mezzanine Card) A PCI-based mezzanine card that is widely adapted to VMEbus, CompactPCI and PCI cards. and Seiko Chemicals (p. 12) contained several inaccuracies. Nippon PMC is located in Tokyo, not Osaka. Nippon ranks third in Japan's paper chemical market, not the total Japanese chemical market. In addition, Seiko's resin resin, any of a class of amorphous solids or semisolids. Resins are found in nature and are chiefly of vegetable origin. They are typically light yellow to dark brown in color; tasteless; odorless or faintly aromatic; translucent or transparent; brittle, fracturing business will not be sold to another party.
