The Jan. 13 story "SAG, AFTRA AFTRA American Federation of Television & Radio Artists  Plan More Talks to Work Out Differences" misstated SAG Treasurer Kent McCord's position on the proposed 1999 merger between the two unions. McCord voted against the merger.

In the Jan. 27 story, "Some Not Sticking Around for Santa Monica Santa Monica (săn`tə mŏn`ĭkə), city (1990 pop. 86,905), Los Angeles co., S Calif., on Santa Monica Bay; inc. 1886.
