Corrections.


In the January 2002 issue, an error appeared in a Newscast item pertaining to Vulcan Engineering Co. The item should have read:

ABB n. 1. Among weavers, yarn for the warp. Hence, abb wool is wool for the abb s>.

In the December 2001 issue, an error appeared in a Newscast item pertaining to Kuttner-Modern and GMD (company) GMD - Full name: "GMD - Forschungszentrum Informationstechnik GmbH" (German National Research Center for Information Technology).

Before April 1995, GMD stood for "Gesellschaft für Mathematik und Datenverarbeitung" - National Research Center for Computer Science,
 Environmental Systems. The item should have read:

Kuttner-Modern, Port Washington. Wisconsin, has selected GMD Environmental Systems, Inc., Fort Worth Texas, to supply a Totally Enclosed Treatment System for a cupola cupola /cu·po·la/ (koo´pah-lah) cupula.

In the November 2001 issue an error appeared in an Industry News item titled "Deere & Co. Restructures" The item incorrectly stated that Deere & Co.'s consumer products division was closing. This division is not closing Deere & Co. only sold its Homelite consumer product line.
