Corrections.
The July 18 list of 200 largest public companies misidentified the top executive for Prospect Medical Holdings Inc. It is Jacob Jacob (jā`kəb), in the Bible, ancestor of the Hebrews, the younger of Isaac and Rebecca's twin sons; the older was Esau. In exchange for a bowl of lentil soup, Jacob obtained Esau's birthright and, with his mother's help, received the blessing Y. Terner, M.D., who is chairman and chief executive.
A story in the July 18 issue, "Times to Offer Readers a View of Stories by Competing Papers," misidentified the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. Times' planned news aggregator See syndication format. , NewsPoint, as a Web site. The product, which will funnel news from the Times and other sources to users, is a software application.
